The Confederate flag and racism has been the topic of every news outlet this week. It’s ironic that those on the left claim that we need to have a serious talk about racism when racism seems to be ALL we talk about. The Confederate flag became such an ordeal that the governor of South Carolina announced that they were going to remove this “hateful symbol” from the state building. Superstore Walmart has decided to follow suit, and remove all items with the Confederate flag on them. The goal was to show the world that Walmart opposes racism and will not sell offensive symbols. Oh but wait, what Walmart has NOT removed is the picture of a man who was not only racist, he actually KILLED black people.

Walmart is selling several posters and prints glorifying dead communist thug Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara. Guevara was a notorious anti-Black racist from Argentina who murdered hungry children and became an icon for leftists around the world for his role in the 1959 communist takeover of Cuba. This was a man who was a defender of the North Korean regime and who deeply mourned the death of Joseph Stalin. Guevara hoped the Soviets would launch nuclear attacks on American cities, for some reason confident that the communists would win a nuclear war that would have killed millions.
Che Guevara banned music, burned books, hated blacks, was an anti-semite, murdered those who disagreed with him, personally oversaw execution squads, and was in charge of a system that imprisoned gays solely for the crime of being gay.

“The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese.”

So why is it Walmart is removing one symbol they claim represents racism, but then glorifying the image of a racist murderer? A racist who killed MANY more black people than the Charleston shooter, by the way. It’s because poorly informed liberals think that Guevara is “cool”, and he symbolizes revolution. David L Goetsch exposes the ignorance of liberals in an article about this very subject. In it he writes ,
“What is truly ironic in all of this is that today’s teenaged admirers of Che Guevara are the very kinds of young boys he enjoyed rounding up and shooting. It was the wrong-headed, anti-American thinking of old-school liberals that transformed the children of the Greatest Generation into the Hippy Generation, and it was the self-satisfied, self-proclaimed moral superiority of the Hippy Generation that spawned the entitlement generation. It is the entitlement generation that now likes to wear tee-shirts sporting the image of a mass-murderer and racist who would have taken sadistic pleasure in shooting every one of them. They came to my town 20 years ago promising family wage jobs and products made in America. They did not deliver on those 2 promises. Employees there have to work revolveing shifts at less than 40 hrs per week. Bunches of them shop there and use food stamps. Promised Christmas bonuses are never given but excuses are. As a sometimes shopper the place is too damn big and the shelves are not always stocked.The meat comes from several states away. The paint they sell sucks and they put a Pittsburg paint store out of business. You wait in line for an hour or more to turn in a prescription and an hour or more to get it filled. They have 20 check stands and 3 or 4 checkers. There are panhandlers at the entrance and so on. I've been there done that. They blew K-Mart out of the water here so they left. Two IGAs closed and also an Albertsons and a Safeway. Those jobs are gone and Wal-Mart treats employees in a disciplinarian manner. I have friends who have worked there a long time. Krogers is by far a better store with better products and similar or lower prices and well treated employees. Wal- Mart sucks.

You are correct. I have never used WalMart paint, but I have seen them put local stores out of business. I don't understand how they put Safeway under, I grew up with a Safeway. It's a much better food store, and here, at least, Kroger has much better prices and a better selection. The K Mart here is holding it's own, but it is in (for me at least ) an even more inconvenient location than the WalMart. I still go to the KMart because there is a coffee shop next door that actually has GOOD coffee, and a pretty good menu.
