Since the only evidence against Khalid Sheik Mohammed was acquired through torture, the FBI and CIA are attempting to infiltrate the defendants' defense teams. Is anyone surprised at this travesty of justice?

Nonspecific concerns about the functioning in the FBI and CIA have been swirling for years.
Is it really surprising that local and state agencies foster a mentality of being above the law when our top cops can do whatever the heck they want?
I don't hear much about the FBI admission that for decades they submitted lies and faulty evidence always to support prosecutors in obtaining guilty verdicts. And now, years later they sit around and wait while providing no pressure for local prosecutors to get back to them for straightening this out.
To get back to you point, what wonder is it that hate remains stirred up up against the US in the middle east? After all, they don't know that US law enforcement is just as bad with our own as with Muslims.
