Ron Paul and the 2012 election

Why did the RNC drop support of Ron Paul so quickly in the 2012 Presidential election? I followed his campaign plan and he seemed to have the only complete plan of the entire Republican candidates.

He showed how he could save over $1trillion in spending by eliminating 5 departments in the federal government. They were Departments od Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior and Education, abolishing the Transportation Security Administration and returning responsibility for security to private property owners, abolishing corporate subsidies, stopping foreign aid, ending foreign wars, and returning most other spending to 2006 levels.

He also promised to make a 10% reduction in the federal work force, slash federal pay and perks, and curb paid excessive federal travel.

He promised to stand with the American people and take a salary of $39,336, approximately equal to the median personal income the American worker.

He also advocated lowering the corporate tax to 15%, making America competitive in the global market, end taxes on personal savings so to allow families to build a nest egg.

He promised to repeal Obamacare and cancel all onerous regulations previously issued by Executive Order, and my favorite: To conduct a full investigation of the Federal Reserve.

I believe I answered my own question, didn't I? I believe it was too scary for even the Republicans to think that their little playhouse would be torn down if Ron Paul was elected.

Because Ron Paul was not for big government like Karl Rove and the rest of Washington Big Wigs he was put down. As long as the likes of Karl Rove and his ilk run the republican party we will have the big democrat party and the little democrat party but be rest assured that both parties will be big government parties. We will not shrink the government and we will not follow the constitution and we will scratch each others back and make it look like we are fighting, wink, wink.If we are to move forward we either have to eliminate Rove and his crew or start a new party with real principles to free our country before it is to late.

Quid Pro Quo, bahmer: I'm for doing the latter. Mark Levin now calls the republican party the French republicans, as in the Vichy French government that capitulated to the Germans.

That would be a very good analogy. Did Mark Levin have any suggestions for what to do next? The only time I catch his show is when I am out at that time of day in the car otherwise I don't catch his show. I like what he has to say and I am looking forward to his new book that is coming out.

Quid Pro Quo, bahmer: His book comes out in 2 or 3 days now, I believe he said. "Liberty Amendments". Last night he said term limits was one of his liberty Amendments. We get him where I live in Kansas for 2 or 3 hours each night so I get to listen around dinner time. He comes on at 5:00 Central time here.

Thanks I will try to tune him in more frequently. I liked his books that he wrote on OIllegal but not enough people got to read the book before the election. I think that those on the left in some cities may even not be able to read at least that is the way it appears. Maybe we will have to send everything out as a text message then they will read it.

Quid Pro Quo, bahmer: Well maybe they can read text and maybe they can not. When 50% don't graduate from High School and of the 50% that do, 80% are defined as functionally illiterate, defined as can't read or write at the fourth grade level, in N.Y. City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, etc., you have to seriously wonder if there are any books they could read even if they tried.

There is an interesting piece on the today's 1PP titled American Suicide How to destroy America. I haven't seen any of our com-padres post on there yet but he does bring up some very good points.

I'm sorry you are the one that posted it. It was a very good article I'm surprised that no one has posted on it yet.

I have read it, twice, but have as yet commented on it. It should be required reading for all students 9-12 plus post graduates.
