Anyone who relies on Limbaugh for news or political commentary is an idiot. And he ceased to be a decent entertainer more than a decade ago.

Anyone who never listens to Limbaugh but is always so knowledgeable about his words is a reader of Media Matters and has to get the twisted words they repeat for their followers. Am I wrong and you are a Think Prog reader?
And Rush Limbaugh's health Plan is; First get rich by slandering and insulting the views of others on a pandering radio show that caters to the very worst aspects of human nature....ie racism, bigotry etc. Then you can afford the most expensive private health care out there.
If RL is the new face of the Republican Party then it is doomed to political oblivion. Decent fair minded Conservatives are quietly recoiling in disgust.
I say oldroy it appears that you have struck some raw nerves out there. It is so refreshing to know that the people that support everything that is destroying our country hate and despise everyone of our talk show hosts with such fervor. That lets me know that we are on the right track. They can't stand the light of truth shinning in them and displaying all of their evil sinister plots against society because it shows the world for who they really are.

In my younger and naïve days I listened to Limbaugh. But then his praise of big business when I was experiencing first hand what unregulated Walmart could do to a local economy caused me to question his rhetoric. Ditto for his views on how we use natural resources, i.e., abuse them for the sake of maximum immediate profit which caused me to question his commitment to our future.
And I was also puzzled by his reluctance to talk about the ill effects that the Sexual Revolution has had on society (he was between wives at the time).
And then it hit me: Limbaugh is a libertarian, not a conservative. He preaches liberty when what he wants is license.
