It's Not About Voter Rights

The issue is no longer voter rights. The issue is voter responsibility.

Because, as is so plain, blacks and other people have voted themselves into poverty.

If you don't feel responsible enough to get your a** down to a specific place on a specific date, or responsible enough to get an ID, then maybe you aren't responsible enough to make an informed choice.

And this is for you, KHH1:

Do you have children? Do you give them everything they want?

Of course not. For AT LEAST two good reasons:

1. What they want could hurt them, and

2. Giving children everything--even a silver spoon--diminishes incentive and initiative. (And then obviously it could ONLY be a "luck of the draw" if they are to be successful. As our Prez has so stupidly pointed out.)

I'm not going to go there with you and that "blacks and other people" bullshit....worry about poor whites in all those red states that vote GOP......they are poor and white like you..........

Other people? Did you know conservative states rank the highest in government handouts. Are those the "other" people you are talking about? You are correct in that people aren't responsible enough to make an informed decision but it's conservatives who, time in and time out, vote against their best interests!

Poor whites vote Democratic for the same reasons poor blacks do. The freebies. Not realizing they are hurting themselves. But the demagogues are very good at what they do.

I've been poor, dirt poor at times. Not sure if I qualify as "white".

But I've never stayed poor.

At one time, America was know as the Land of Opportunity---the Land of Upward Mobility.

Now we seem to be stuck in some "class"---whatever class the Liberals want us in. So maybe Ovomit is right---it takes luck now to get out of a particular class. It's no longer about hard work or ethics.

Agreed . Voting any more is just a FEEL good , that you think You've done your Patriotic Duty , and Voted . Its ALL a sham . Look at ALL the Voter Fraud from the Last PREZ Election . It was Well known , AND shown on the News on Election Eve . And What was done about it ??? NOTHING . Only because if OBOGUS was NOT elected By voter fraud . There would've been RACE RIOTS from Coast to Coast .
