Some of our Liberal members seem to think the people have no voice in the law; that the courts will decide how we are to live. Has the Founders goal in creating this great nation as articulated by Lincoln finally been destroyed by a pack of Liberal judges?

Yea its weird. If you study germany in the 30's the parallels are scary. German citizenry gave in and voted political takeover by the nazis. The stupid thing is hitler early on did good things for germany. Our so called leaders i.e. from top to bottom are failing us as a citizenry. The middle class IS dying. The gap is widening every day. Screw all these so called elected officials. They are corrupt hacks on all sides at the highest levels. There are still true politicians who actually give a shit about the comman folk but alas they arent allowed in the fraturnity....

Your assumptions is wrong when a liberal judge as you call them insist that additional rights be given to the people they are doing exactly what the founding fathers want.

You see they saw the day when a small group of powerful people would try to take over the country and put safeguards in place

First, there are no liberal members here or anywhere. There is nothing liberal about leftist ideology. Liberal is the last word that applies to sociopaths. Constrictors comes to mind...

Destroyed by a pack of liberal judges?..Not by any stretch of the imagination...It has fallen victim to an apathetic people who would not stand up to protect it from the most vicious predators known to man...other men...

what rulings do you consider wreaking the country.

Do you actually think that the founding father would consider spending money as free speech and that corporation would spend millions of Dollars on lobbyist to get their way. That people would get elected to congress and then stay there for 20 or 30 years
Blaming everything on liberal judges is just ridiculous the conservative courts have done more damage by taking away the "we the People " part of the election now it is who can raise the most money from corporation, special interest groups and PAC. I just read that Hillary is expected to raise almost 2 billion dollars and the Koch Bros are saying they will spend 1 Billion dollars

So when you say government of the people, by the people and for the people has vanished you don't have to look any further the Citizens Untied decision.

Grumble; First let me establish that I am not a proponent of the SCOTUS concept. It is deeply flawed in principle and practice. Any system that appoints from partisan prejudice for life is not capable of achieving balanced jurisprudence.

The CU ruling notwithstanding in exacerbating an already grievous wrong, the flood gates of corruption in government influence peddling have been open wide since before Teddy Roosevelt. It has created the wealthiest political class in the history of man. Bill and Hilary Clinton among many others have been amassing wealth selling out the people of America for decades...and long before CU ruling...

Contrary to what you might think I am saying, the founders, to whom I subscribe and as is documented in the Madison Papers warned us of and in fact attempted to prevent the very evils you site; private monies buying government influence and career politicians; both leading to a political class separate from the people. We not only allowed it to happen right under out noses we encouraged it electing criminals to our highest offices; simply because they promised a free ride.

Choose any form of governance known to man and with one exception they can all continue in some wretched form of existence with the population in bovine ignorance of what is happening to them. The exception is the Democratic Republic. Conceptually dependent on the 'will of the people' it's certain downfall is ignorance and apathy to which we have been taken to unplumbed depths by the leftist ideologies that exist under the constitution they are vowed to destroy.

So long as we remain ignorant and elect the wrong people we cannot begin to even hope to restructure for success as a Republic.

For me this is not a matter of liberal and conservative. There is some of each in all normally adjusted, healthy human beings. This is about the parasitic element of mankind, the collective mentality vs. in this case, Americans who believe in the individual and the constitutional Republic.

Our greatest weapon is our vote. We shall see in November 2016 if we continue or not. In my opinion there will be no opportunity after that to right the ship...

You keep mentioning that we keep electing the wrong people, if by that you the career politicians who serve 25-30 years, who are indebted to special interest groups and who have to go begging with their hats in hands to millionaire and billionaires so they can stay in power
