This is a great example of how even when faced with hard scientific evidence, some people just refuse to give up their cherished worldviews. You can make excuses for EVERYTHING, even fish fossils found in ancient rock.

Radio carbon dating is a very inaccurate science. Different methods get different results. It can only be used back to 70,000
years so when people say something is millions of years they are only guessing. One example is a dating of an animal was said to be 3000 years and another part of the same animal was 27000 years. This is just one example of many.

...some people just refuse to give up their cherished worldviews...

Do you do radiocarbon dating for a living? Maybe you're getting dating mixed up with dating between people?

Asimov, the man. Read every sci-fi book he wrote. Foundation Trilogy being my fav. His non fiction,"Asimov's Biographical Encyclopedia of Science and Technology " caused me to study science and history a little harder. Brilliant person.

Found this link interesting. A log of all his published writings. Grab a coffee, It's a long read in itself.

Thanks for the reminder. Time to reread some of these.
