Feds find safety defects in latest oil train inspections

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the latest round of targeted crude oil tank car and rail inspections have uncovered 93 defects, including seven critical safety defects that required immediate corrective action.
The inspections are the latest in a series of actions state agencies are taking to protect New Yorkers from potential dangers associated with the transport of crude oil by rail.
