But I have had enough of a Bush or Clinton Presidency.

Clinton being the most corrupt Presidency. ( wife included )

Bush, 9/11 (false flag) and the never ending war.

We need a real Patriot, not a socialist, some one with strong principles and courage to say clearly what they mean , and do what they say.

I agree with you in part, we need a real American president.

I do not agree with your opinion of President Bush. He did what he and his advisors and with the approval of the American Citizens what they believed necessary. Now President Bill Clinton, well he had personal flaws, but he did leave the WH with the national debt shrinking, people were living well because unemployment was down, jobs were created, welfare rolls fell and inflation was down. We had friends in this world. Now our debt has tripled in 6 years, people hate America and its citizens, we are perceived as cowards and greedy. And he cut spending... he was more Republican than many who claim to be conservatives...... And really, his personal life....well, there is much that could be said but in the end, had it not been made public would anyone outside of those participants been harmed? Certainly it did not change the stock market, raise gas prices, or eliminate jobs.....

Agreed but, disagree on Bill Clinton. When he was president, everybody was working and money flew out of the woodwork. He even left a surplus of money in the coffers and Bush spent it all up within a year.

When Bush got in I told everyone "Save your pennies! We're in trouble." We've been going downhill since then. And now with the illegal squatter in the oval we are circling the drain.

You are absolutely right Pennylynn!
They are few, and far between. I like Ted Cruz for the reasons you mentioned.
Somehow...I just don't think he could ever get there in todays political climate.

[Pennylynn] I am somewhat on your side, but I have had it with this lier & chief now, I do believe we have a lot of good choices & I think a past or present Gov. a young one & has done good, like Walker for one would do well with a back up V.P. Carson or Huckaby come to mind, pass on the Vegas casino owner, but the rest could be in there. can't wait for the debates that will slim down the field. As you notice spelling was not my best subject in H.S. but the red head teacher was nice. Have a nice rest of the day, Tork

I assure you, most of us are tied of what we have, we are ready for prosperity, job growth, and less friction developed and encouraged by the WH in regards to race relations. I fear, if another Obama like individual is voted in.... a civil war. People are just tired and many feel backed into corners; it may be real or imagined, but to those feeling trapped it could not be more real. This time around, I hope that people do their homework and vote for the best candidate possible....not for what they may do, but rather on their records of accomplishment, not on if they wear a red or blue tie, but whether or not they can be civil and presidential when dealing with foreign affairs. Not on skin color, but on their willingness to work with both parties to make all citizens feel as if they are being heard. I am tired of the whining and the blaming, the lies, and empty promises.....and most of all I am tired of being divided as a nation. So, bring on the discussions the debates... I want to know what to expect for real.... and I want a president that will look to the people, hear their problems, and show us what we can do to improve our nation. As Kennedy said, ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.

I agree, Ted is a good candidate who I think would be a great president. He is concerned with America, not just white, black, yellow or red; but rather America! His thoughts are well presented and he remains calm when under pressure. I like him.....but, like you said I doubt he will get the nod.

It was Speaker Gingrich and the House with their Contract with America that balanced the budget and saved Clinton's butt.

Sorry it wasn't Clinton as much of it was the dot com boom that was going on during his time....his biggest accomplishment was the NAFTA agreement...oops...or not...

I used to like Walker until I found out what a flip flopper he is. Rand Paul is the same. Walker was all for illegals getting a pass on citizenship then changed his mind. If he is elected he can sure change his mind again. Once a flip flopper always a flip flopper

I like Ted Cruz because he is the only one that I can see who stands up and fights for the American people. But, is he constitutionally eligible? His mom is natural born but his dad is not. Both parents have to be natural born if I'm not mistaken. This also would make Jindal as well as Rubio ineligible.

Keep in mind that when Clinton came into office it was the beginning of the technology boom and despite Clinton, the progress that led up to that point pushed the economy. Often it takes years for the influence of the government to improve or dampen the growth of the economy. The economy boomed in spite of Clinton, not because of his political programs. On the other hand, since the economy is already in the tank, more of the statist marxist economic programs will not improve the situation.
