The BATFE, in the face of "overwhelming public opposition," has, for now, abandoned it's proposed ban on .223 "green tips."

As I said in another thread. Totalitarians don't give up. They'll try again.
They may try to reinstate it after someone dies from an AR15 round, or perhaps when we're busy looking elsewhere.
Or they may try to chokehold the manufacturers, or perhaps try some bullshit environmental ploy.

My point was they backed off because of what they called "overwhelming public opposition," which means not only did a bunch of people contact them, they contacted their congressmen and senators also, and raised hell. They will certainly try again.

While they have apparently backtracked on this one, there are other avenues I am sure they are exploring for the same result.
