Hello, I'm 67 retired. I grew up in w Texas on ranches. My daddy was a working cowboy. He taught me to be very independent in every way. My husband and I have lived a very interesting life. We have always been self employed. We have been in construction for 40 years and we had an outfitting business for several years. I am a conservative Christian. I love my country and I'm very conserned about the direction we are going in! We must do our best to turn it around. Hopefully back to God!

Welcome. We need some Texas ladies on here to keep some of these old codgers lined up. Welcome aboard. Most here are.Good.people & great.patriots.

Welcome aboard conservative Christian Texan. "WE" must "turn this ship around," now that "WE" pretty much stopped its "leftward" motion. I still hear someone with a pen and a phone barking orders into a rapidly changing conservative canyon; and the echo of [his] voice must be near as beautiful as the "evening call to [Islamic] prayer" [Barry].

Well!!! I suppose we need to break his pen and disconnect his phone. And the "evening call is like chalk on a blackboard"". Do you remember that horrible sound?
