Your understanding of Scripture is lacking. By claiming that no one is good but God, Jesus was claiming equality with God.

Exactly!! I love the way you state it as fact. You know exactly what he meant. Other interpretations are clearly misunderstandings by those poor fools who don't have your direct communication with the creator of the universe. I'm glad we have you here to clarify.

You seem to have taken your verse from Luke a little out of context. Perhaps adding the following verse would be helpful.

Luke 18:19-20New International Version (NIV)

19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. 20 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’”

Apparently you don't understand what Jesus was teaching us. He called that one, too.

Don't just leave it at that. Explain to me how calling out a closed-minded bigot means I'm not a Christian, please. I'd like to understand your logic.

And they "left" out all the charitable Islamic influence in the world today. And what about historic Islamic activity and religious benevolence and good-tidings in the Middle East??? And now in Western Europe??? America??? What about that "rich tapestry of Islamic culture in America???" [Barry].

It is really all academic as nobody knows what or if Jesus said any such thing. The Holy Bible is the team building seminar of its day, written long after anyone who supposedly heard Jesus speak was dead.
Remember that child's game of TELEPHONE?

Exodus 20:13 “You must not murder..."

Bear with me now as I expound on this from a legal standpoint…So let’s focus on the real world implications of abortion and fetal “personhood.”

Amoebas are single-celled organisms. Cells are the building blocks for all life forms. "Single-celled" means that amoebas have only one cell for their entire body. Amoebas, like humans, are considered life forms: KINGDOM: Protist – PHYLUM: Protozoa – CLASS: Rhizopoda – ORDER: Amoebida – FAMILY: Amoebidae – GENUS: Amoeba – SPECIES: Amoeba (Many species).

Every human being begins life as a single cell (like the amoeba), formed when the father's sperm fertilizes the mother's egg. When fertilization is completed and the nuclei of egg and sperm have combined, a new being – as in human – comes into existence. So therefore, life, whether it’s human or amoeba, begins when the father's sperm fertilizes the mother's egg or the amoeba splits in two. In the case of a human being, the conclusion can therefore be made that a human being’s life begins at conception.

Under U.S. federal law, murder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought – the "premeditation" or "predetermination" (with malice) that can be expressed (intent to kill) or implied. Implied malice is proven by acts that involve reckless indifference to human life or in a death that occurs during the commission of certain felonies (the felony murder rule). The exact terms of the felony murder vary tremendously from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Tying these two concepts together, any reasonable person can conclude that abortion is murder, with murder being the unlawful killing of a human being – whose life was just proven to begin at conception – with implied malice being proven by acts that involve reckless indifference to human life.

So having a spontaneous abortion is involuntary manslaughter?
And, of course, nine reasonable persons disagreed with you over 40 years ago.

You know what...you're a freakin' idiot.

We are talking about murder. If I understand your moronic rambling correctly, a "spontaneous abortion" is known as a miscarriage, not the killing of a human being with malice aforethought.

Wow Jihadi jelunny John you are amazingly daft! "It is really all academic... ", "Remember that child's game of TELEPHONE?". Let's see moron, most if not ALL history is written post festum! For you, that means out or away from your field of vision or knowledge of.

Should we therefore invalidate anything that you haven't personally witnessed or experienced? What an egotistical and hypocritical putz you are! Since I can only believe you got your learning from books mostly, the only thing that's all academic is your stupidity and ignorance about knowledge and the transmission of information.

Did you know that the early church was persecuted quite severely by the various governments of the Roman Empire and Jewish authorities? Do you believe that? How would you know for sure? You read it in some book, right jackass?

Hey guess what, the early church had to play THAT game of telephone. Do you think those folks were tortured and maimed over a child's game, are you that fleckin' developmentally challenged?

"The anti-Christian policies or persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire occurred intermittently over a period of about three centuries until the 313 Edict of Milan issued by Emperors Constantine the Great and Licinius, when Christianity was legalized. Christians were persecuted by local authorities on a sporadic and ad-hoc basis, often more according to the whims of the local community than to the opinion of imperial authority."

"This persecution heavily influenced the development of Christianity, shaping Christian theology and the structure of the Church. Among other things, persecution gave rise to many saints' cults, may have contributed to the rapid spread of Christianity and sparked written explanations and defenses of the Christian religion.

In other words birdbrain, in today's terms, Christianity went viral right after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and, it all began with that dang "child's game" you so arrogantly refer to.

Glad I couldn't help you ya buffoon!
