Around 5:43 a.m., Friday morning, authorities responded to a report of someone trying to break into the Meridian Credit Union ATM on 1206 North Jefferson.
Police say the suspects hooked chains to the ATM from a truck and were trying to use the truck to pull open the door to the machine or remove it from the ground.
Police located the truck that had been used in the commission of the crime. That truck was determined to have been stolen overnight from a hotel parking lot in Oskaloosa. They also located another vehicle that the suspects were using to try to leave the area.
Officers arrested Cary Jones Junior, 28, of Texas, Zachary Ray, 32, of Texas and Rayvion Reynolds-Flower, 23, of Texas.
All three suspects are charged with Theft in the First Degree, Possession of Stolen Property and Criminal Mischief.
