I tried to let my daughter grow up that way. My wife didn't see things the way I did. My daughter would ride her bike at full speed toward a drop off and slam on the brakes. She would slide right to the edge and even though I was afraid she would crash I let her do it. She never did crash and when I saw her doing this I always would just go somewhere else and not watch.

I can imagine having to walk away. I did so much stupid stuff. Got a couple of pretty good war wounds out of it, though!

The stupid stuff is what we remember and tell about. The safe stuff is just that, safe and dull. Not worthy of even a mention in our journals.

One I remember is seeing how fast I could go around a curve on a dirt road. It wasn't quite as fast as I had thought.

LOL... That's way up on the list!! Have you noticed that when something gets sanded, it's normally one of the best fun you've had? Except for your face. That one sucks..
