She is a thoughtful and skilled jurist, that aside the greatest damage to our nation done recently was the destruction of credibility of our supreme court after Putin installed Trump as president and he in turn installed unqualified political ideologues to the court. If she retired Biden could appoint who he wants. A good choice would be Vice President Harris. He fulfilled his promise to choose a woman of color as his running mate and could replace her as VP with someone like Gretchen Whitmer or George Clooney.
