Take you a big oval roasting pan. Slice up 4 pounds of yellow onions and separate the rings . Put at least an inch and a half of the onion rings in the bottom of the roaster . Cut you up a fryer chicken and brown the pieces in oil . Then arrange them in the roaster on top of the onion bed . Then cover them with the rest of your onion rings . Put on the lid and Pop it in the oven at 335 degrees for a minimum of 1 hour 45 minutes . Serve with bashed taters and dripping gravy and your choice of vegetable . A real pleaser guaranteed .

My wife is addicted to eating onions. She will eat them at every meal.

Oh yeah !!! I have a porcelain lined roasting pan actually two . I just gave one to one of my daughters .
