He was Harvard educated and held great sway over his tribes and some Whites who lived in the area . He had quite a knowledge of the stars and made many predictions that were accurate . He was a wicked man - hunch backed -bald and with a head the size of a large grapefruit . During the day while he had the men out cutting down trees and sawing them into lumber and constructing his ark he would preach and make predictions to the women who looked up on him in Awe and adoration . He bedded them all and fathered nearly 70 children . The government put him in Alkatraz to stop his interference with their assimilation efforts . He was released in 1923 and by then had no control over the people .
