I am neither liberal nor a Biden fan. Strictly a moderate living on social security and our savings. And yes, I'm definitely better off financially than I was 4 years ago. More money left at the end of the month. More trips to Karaoke. No issues buying food. No problem buying gasoline. Happy days. Good times. And the sheer lunacy of trump's attempts to play king and destroy democracy along with the daily dose of lies.

You are a liberal. And you are a Biden fan. And obviously a big liar.

I'm sure there is enough blame here to go around, Nick, but let's not deflect from the current problem at hand which, in my opinion, happens to be the disaster we are facing that is going on right now. It is too great to ignore and by blaming Trump continually, we are not going to solve it.

Neither Trump nor Biden will do anything to solve the problem. Both are creating major problems, and the problem is too many people in this country are believing the lies from both sides. Another recent lie from Trump is so grossly stupid it is laughable! In what is obviously another attempt to scare voters into voting for him, he claimed that the governments of Congo and Congolese in Africa released all their criminals from jail and they are heading for our southern border. They going to swim the Atlantic? They cannot afford a plane ride and a ship is too slow. Officials froom both cuntries absolutely deny any such thing has happened and that Trump ia outright lying. But that is what Trump does. He lies. Nothing he says should ever be believed. Biden is beginning to back off of the overly socialistic approach he took to his first 2 years in office. Trump, just in the last week, spoke one lie after another, including :
1. He created the greatest U.S. economy in U.S. history. A Lie
2. He passed the biggest tax cut in histlory. A Lie - it was No. 8
3. He did more for black people than any president other than Lincoln. Another false statement.
4. He defeated ISIS in 4 weeks. Isis has not been defeated. Decimated in 2 years of fighting, but still entrenched in Afghanistan and Iran.
5. He was the first persident to impose tariffs on China. Another lie. George Washington was first in 1789. Many others followed.
6. He increased government revenue even though he cut taxes. Another lie. Revenues declined and we incurred the largest increase in the deficit ever.

Old story. If Trump's mouth is open, he is likely lying. If Biden is doing something, it may be the wrong thing this country needs.

Then how are all the other Africans crossing the border. And South America is doing exactly that emptying their prisons and sending them here just like Cuba did. And I’m pretty sure the Haitians don’t have a penny in their pocket and they’re already on the way here.

One boatload is not an invasion. And were they criminals or just people fleeing the civil war in Haiti? Believe essentially nothing from DeSantis. He lies almost as much as Trump.

Then send them back. 3 or 4 planes would be enough. Nothing more on this since January 6? There is still no evidence countries are emptying their jails to send them here. Not one documented case of lowered prison populations has been proven. At least not that I can find. And I found multiple articles disputing the claim. Must not be newsworthy.

You always put words in other people's mouth? Things they never said? Not terribly high on integrity when that happens.

What does January 6 have to do with anything

If you're making $3000 a month from SS -- which I highly doubt -- that means that you're monthly income is about $4000 per month. And if your monthly expenses are what my wife and mine are, you're draining your savings to the tune of $4000 per month, which means that your savings will be depleted in about six years.

Guess you missed a bit. My SS is over $3k a month and my wife's is over $2k. I was a consulting engineer for about 50 years and I paid max SS percent for over 40 years. Wife was a 4 year degreed RN. And my savings are actually increasing as CDs on tax paid money. So, I only pay taxes on the interest. Ran my own engineering firm for 5 years (Age 65 to age 70). Worked only QC for the Navy those years. Designed things for every branch of our military and won a lawsuit settled by the SCOTUS. Also worked as expert witness and in 17 countries. Sometimes for the World Bank. Yep. I have no mortgage, no loans, no debt on credit cards. Doing just fine, thank you. Oh, yeah, a second home for summers in the Great Smokie Mountains. Main home in Florida. And we carry the loan for a person we sold a house to. And we add another one to two thousand a month to savings accounts. So, your guesstimate is a bit short.
