Don't be sorry for my topics. It is not your doing. I just notice that when I post a topic, it seems to disappear. I notice a few other strange things I will not get into. Thank you for your concern.

Weird.

I too have noticed disappear items. And not for any apparent reason.

Perhaps you can enlighten me on something ? Perhaps I am being stupid or paranoid. In the distant past when I posted a new topic it would appear at the top of the list of new topics. Gradually it would be replaced as others posted new topics. That was what I became accustomed to.

Now I post new topics and I can't find them on the list and forget about them ever getting to the top. I also keep track of who gets their topics on the top of the list and how long they stay there. I see patterns. Maybe those are my imagination.

Are there new rules I am uninformed of ? Did I get on the naughty list ? Did I offend the wrong people ? Am I about to be removed ? Have I reached my lifetime quota on topics ?

All of the above. You're toast, dude. Pretty soon the black vans will appear and helicopters flying overhead with lots of crime tape around your place of residence, we'll hear about you on the late late Sunday news and will mourn you when you disappear to places unknown.
You will be missed

Yes - this is what I was referring to. People are being driven AWAY from Christianity because people who claim to be "Christian Evangelicals" support DJT.

Many people on the other side of the Christian divide - what has now become a yawning deep dark chasm - look at DJT the same way I do - Evil with a capital E. If not THE Antichrist, certainly at least a small "a" antichrist.

Just today, for the first time I actually think Trump will lose. Usually I’m just terrified by the thought of Stephen Miller and Melanie swanning around but I can see daylight. Smaller rallies, empty seats, curtains hiding other empty seats. Mike Pence finally came through. It’s not like anyone likes Pence but when the guy who was the closest and most reliable, decides it’s too much, then it’s too much. Every day a few more people come out and say nope, not again. In the last 2 elections Trump had over 750,000 small donors. Now he has about 500,000. That is going the wrong direction and couple that with some of the big dogs saying no more, now it’s more than a trickle. On top of all that, when Trump goes off script it is not making sense. He isn’t finishing his sentences and he is stringing words together that don’t seem to form anything coherent. At the end of the day, if 35 members of your prior admin won’t vote for you, then that reality will sink in over the next 8 months. That’s today, tomorrow I’ll probably slide back into worry and terror. Fun times.

Me friendless and alone ? Oh crap, I knew I shouldn't have gotten rid of my dog. We could no longer care for her because she was too big and too destructive so we found a junk yard that needed a big scary dog to frighten thieves. I wonder if she would forgive me after 37 years ? She was the only one who really understood me.

Probably not especially if you're in parts unknown.

I'm afraid you'll have to live with one of those annoying little yappy dogs that people push around in a baby carriage as part of your punishment!!

I yearn for the days on ‘Gods land’, silent.
Plowing a field with a dog running at the front wheel in between their napping and chasing rabbits.

Dogs chasing vehicles are looking for trouble. When I was around 23 years old I had a good job and bought the first new car of my short life. Before that they were all used junkers. I chose to go to my parent's home and show off my new wheels. Some of my siblings and their friends were home.

It was a 1979 Subaru Brat with the seats in the back. I loaded whomever was around into the car and we drove up the country rode my parent's house was situated on. One of my parents mutts loved to chase cars. I hadn't noticed the dog. The old brats were under powered so I was not going very fast up the hill.

This dog decided to chase my car. Well she caught it. I saw her in the mirror and before I could react she ran under the car and I felt the back tire run over her. Fortunately the car was not especially heavy and somehow she survived.

When they catch the car it's bad. My parents had about an acre in the country. We moved from Philadelphia in my senior year of HS. for which I am still traumatized, but you really don't want to hear that story.

Anyway, my Mom the city girl, always wanted a lot of animals. Now she had room for them. We had ducks, a sheep, a goat, and numerous cats and dogs. Where the dogs and cats all came from was a mystery to me. I guess people just gave them to my Mom.

The dog I ran over was some kind of mongrel. The closest breed I can label her with would be a foxhound. She was afraid of people. My one brother never liked her and she would wet the rug every time he walked into the door. However, she was fearless around any kind of animal. I watched her go after some big nasty tom cats and come back with blood on her lips.

We had neighbors above us on a hill. One time their two German Shepherds came down to my parents property. Both these dogs were twice her size. She chased them back up to their own home. A meat store a half mile away must have slaughtered steers, because she would come home with their lower legs and leave them lying around in our grass. I hope that is where she got them.

We too acquired dogs from others. People who did not want them anymore. And some that just got dropped off in the middle of the night.

One of our former pastors and his family adopted one that had the same sort of issue as that mongrel foxhound. They named her Puddles.
We had a great time cleaning the parsonage before the next pastor moved in. 🙄 😁
