Revenue is not the problem, spending is. He and Democrats believe by raising taxes they will get more for their pet projects.

But don't you want to know how many holes should be in an acoustic ceiling tile ? What about the evolution of bird songs as impacted by noise pollution ? These things are vital to our existence and our forseeable future .

That’s because Reagan/Bush/Trump all cut taxes for the wealthy which caused this massive deficit. (TRICKLE DOWN NEVER TRICKLED DOWN) then add in Bush two phony wars and that makes up almost 80% of our national debt. So they should pay it back.
Trump's tax cuts worked for EVERYBODY, NOT just fur super rich!

What a perfect Biden Policy.
So sit back and watch our Groceries, our Economic Pressure, and Pricing go up to the next level of suffering under the Bidenomic Policy,
(Another Biden Failed Policy For Sure.)●
We will pay much more for everything, as this is all passed on to Consumers.

It's not only Democrats, McConnell and the rest of them help.
I have to tell you, Tom, it has been shown over decades that almost every time taxes are cut, government revenue increases. Likewise, raising taxes decreases revenue. Why? Because corporations and the wealthy are able to take advantage of tax laws to reduce the tax they spend either by using tax shelters, which have been installed over the years by predominantly Democrat congresses or, in the case of large corporations, by moving all or part of their operations off shore, or both. Government spending has always resulted in inflation which hurts mostly the middle and lower classes. Not only that, taxing of the extreme upper class reaches only a small percentage of total income. The only sensible way to raise tax money is with evenly distributed taxing. Government has usually ignored this because "taxing the rich" sounds good to those who are not rich (class envy). Politicians, of both stripes, are interested in pleasing their constituents. If you tax something you get less of it, if you reduce taxes or subsidize something, you get more of it. Maybe term limits would have some positive effect on this practice.

If you itemize your taxes, there's a $10,000 cap on SALT deduction.
Is that what hurt you?

Off shore banks are thrilled. All the money that had been redeposited stateside will be moved back. Congratulations to the administration for, again, assisting other countries and working against ours.

BS !! The way to reduce the deficit is to reduce spending. There's a video on YouTube by Rand Paul citing 6,000 pork projects in the latest budget. Did you know that we spent more than a billion dollars to see if mice get drunk? In every budget there are hundreds if not similar items, it's no wonder we're going broke.
