Out of options, Trump will pay $500M cash bond to appeal his NY fraud case, experts predict.

What has to really hurt is that Trump can't lie his way out of this one...well he can and will lie but he still going to have to put up 500 million for the State of New York. And it's going to have to be cash...no assets for this one. And believe it or not, I almost feel sorry for him, that's almost but not quite. Because all he had to do to get the total lowered, if not dismissed altogether, was to simply show some contrition. Just tell the judge that you are sorry for what you did. But his ego simply wouldn't let him do that. So pony up the cash turd brain. And go ahead and lie to your idiot followers. They will believe whatever vomit comes out of your mouth. But not the rest of us. The rest of us know what a dickhead you are and how deserving this fine really is...

Sure. If Trump loses the appeal NYC will die. No one will ever be willing to put up real-estate as collateral again. Is it worth destroying NYC and the rule of law to get Trump? Because that is what has happened

Or, NYC goes on and doesn't skip a beat. You don't have to commit fraud to get a loan and if you do you deserve what is happening to Donald Trump.

Trump didn't commit fraud.

Real estate investors are already pulling out of NYC, only a fool wouldn't. Why risk $100s of millions on the whims of a political hack who abuses power?

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what Trump did, as everyone that applied for a loan
estimate their assets at a high estimate.

Somehow they are blind to this fact. Even with hochul admitting that it was a political hit job by saying "if you're not Trump don't worry" investors are already leaving.
