He was not her first choice, nor second or third... Very few people were willing to out their necks on the chopping block in a criminal case against a former president, no matter how much if a thug he was and is.

My guess would be that their prior relationship was the only reason her agreed to help prosecute the case.

Don't forget that this is not just a case against one corrupt disgraced president who tried to subvert the will of the people. It's a conspiracy case, with not just one but almost 20 other defendants who aided and abetted and encouraged him.

All that said - I agree that it was NOT a good look, having a relationship with one of the people working for her, and I'm VERY angry that it may derail the entire case, because I can't imagine anyone else in the entire state of GA willing to stick their neck out to prosecute him for trying to cheat.

The minority party could have supported the secure border initative with their votes and there would have been time saved, wall built and border security earlier in the admin.

Two NY governors were forced to resign, and one of the best Dem Senators in Congress (With the latter, it was over a picture so old it could vote).

A Dem Senator is going on trial right now - after an investigation by Joe Biden's DOJ.

How many Republicans have resigned or been expelled in the 21st century besides George Santos? And THAT took over a year, for one of the most egregious examples of lying fraud perpetrated against the voters in modern memory. The people of his district were so disgusted when they realized the kind of person they had elected to Congress that the GOP will be lucky if they get another victory there for a decade.

The GOP take care of their own. Dems side with the American voters.
