I think that would be a great idea, except there will be so many who will be breaking that law, will overpower our judicial system, which is already being over-run with cases to the point of exceeding the "statute of limitations." As I consider this, I'm wondering why so many woman can make charges of "RAPE" 10, 15, 20 years after it supposedly happened???
I asked my wife that question(She was assaulted as a teen)She told me that many women block out that entire episode from their mind set. They are scared, ashamed and don't understand why it was them. She also said in her case it was her therapist who helped her confront the issue when she began therapy in her early 20's(shortly before we met). I firmly believe there should not be a statute of limitations on sexual assault of anybody. If enough evidence can be obtained thru therapy years(decades)after then the perp should be discovered, arrested, tried and convicted.
