That is amazing. I was involved in youth soccer, supporting my daughters. I even coached one of my daughters in intramural soccer. For a lot of years I watched my kids, my nieces and nephews, and their friends play. Those kids are in their 30s now, and most of them really turned out to become fantastic adults.
Parents who can be there for their kids, and have them in sports generally are going to be happy old people with grand children.
Thanks for the comment son of. I have in the past helped coach softball, flag football and even pewee football when the older of the twins Kaitlynn played. They have both gotten offers from schools for softball in the fall, she wants to become a football coach. They had a tough loss in the final game yesterday 1-0 to a top 10 FL team in a lower class.. Kayleigh pitched a hell of a game 5 innings 6 strike outs and 3 hits the big hurt was a walkoff triple in the 5th.
After the game I took all 3 of my ladies out for dinner.
