Specifically the Gray Whale in the Atlantic Ocean. This species was wiped out in the Atlantic Ocean. One individual has managed to move from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Hopefully one day a population of Gray Whales will reestablish itself in the Atlantic Ocean. Guess I will continue to emit CO2, just to save the whales.

" In an “incredibly rare event,” scientists have spotted a gray whale off the coast of Massachusetts, diving and resurfacing in the waters around Nantucket. The sighting left the team astonished: The species has been presumed extinct in the Atlantic Ocean for more than 200 years. "

" Additionally, scientists say climate change is likely playing a role. The Northwest Passage, which connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans north of Canada, has recently been ice-free during the summer due to rising global temperatures, allowing gray whales to travel through the passage in a manner previously impossible. "

The earth and it's climate will do what ever the earth and it's climate will do. There are always winners and losers to every change. Our little crazy Global Warming Believing sisters and brothers of the Leftist Persuasion, use Climate Change as their religion. As such they need some type of an apocalypse to shame " sinners " to repent. A future ending of the world due to the crime of emitting CO2 so that the " sinners " can enjoy their debauchery of driving SUVs, and enjoying the sins of having heat and air conditioning must come with religious type guilt. Redemption will only come to the True Believers.

As the Prophets, Priests, and Disciples of the Post Modern Religion they have great power over the rest of us. The Heathens ( me and everyone else with a brain ) need to be locked up, shamed, and above all else silenced for their Blasphemy.
