The district attorney didn’t immediately disclose the nature of the charge, but people familiar with the investigation had previously told The Associated Press and other news organizations that prosecutors were considering charging Weisselberg with perjuring himself during his testimony at Trump’s civil business fraud trial last October.

Selective interpretation and prosecution of the law targeting certain individuals or groups for personal or political purposes is abuse of power. Unethical but not particularly illegal if done carefully. One must uniformly design and apply the law or there is no law. Only persecution.

Don't worry. Fanni and her lover perjured themselves under oath. If the Judge doesn't throw Willis, Wade and their whole office of prosecutors off the case, there are the Georgia Ethics committee who ultimately will, and that won't be a slap on the wrist.
