New York gotta get money some how since all the taxpayers are leaving.

Good advice; you should take it.

My QUOTE is from the NYT.
Your quote may as well be from Pravda. Wayne LaPierre is a jerk. So are you. Ergo, all NRA members and Liberal Leg Humpers are jerks based on the actions of a couple. This is your logic, fed by your narcissistic, self-righteous stupidity. Have you given God His daily bread and forgiven His transgressions against you today? Most people who labor under hubris inspired delusions at least have some redeeming quality. The next one you show will be the first. You remind me of the old Mac Davis Song
"Oh Lord, It's Hard To Be Humble." I'll let you go now; I realize you've been keeping Jesus, Mohammed and Krishna all three on hold while you talk to me. At least you don't need a call back number, since you seem to think they have you on speed dial.

First, we need to get rid of that pesky Constitution and replace it with one authored by you, since you consider yourself so much smarter than the Founders. Before you scrap the Constitution, you might try reading it, or in your case, have someone read it to you and explain the big words. I will direct your attention to Article I Sections 9 & 10.
Dipstick.
One of my favorite authors described you to a "T." (Or more accurately to a "TJKMO").....
"If he were half as smart as he thinks he is, he'd be twice as smart as he really is."

The first step to replacing our Republic with a Theocracy run by your boy TJ. I mean, he seems to think that God, Allah and Buddha all have him on speed dial.

Confiscation is not going to happen, I would suggest you look at this through the lens of reality not your obvious bias. I would suggest first you look at the increase in gun sales over the last 4 years!! Second nobody is going to enforce confiscation. Third you would start a massive civil war, most of the military is not going to follow illegal orders. You can look at this from a keyboard warrior point of view or take a big drink of reality!

They said the same about Habeas Corpus before LINCOLN SUSPENDED HABEAS CORPUS because of the National Emergency.
We have an Emergency today due to the proliferation of guns and gun related DEATHS, particularly dire are the death of CHILDREN from firearms which now tops the list as cause of DEATH IN CHILDREN.
We must be BRAVE ENOUGH TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
Threatening War against your government is TREASON.
THE BATF are charged with enforcement.
Red Flag laws are being implemented and are the first steps down the road of CONFISCATION.
THAT IS REALITY BOTH HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORARY.
Crawl out of your bunker and take a gander at REALITY.

So TJKMO, You place "CONFISCATION" first. and "LEGISLATION" last, as Your Priorities.
That speaks volumes about Your total disregard for The Constitution, and the Rule of Law.

When Lincoln suspended habeas corpus, that happened 163 years ago during the Civil War. There comes a price when the government suspends habeas corpus even in modern times.
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/president-lincoln-suspends-the-writ-of-habeas-corpus-during-the-civil-warFederal judge Roger Taney, the chief justice of the Supreme Court (and also the author of the infamous Dred Scott decision), issued a ruling that President Lincoln did not have the authority to suspend habeas corpus. Lincoln didn’t respond, appeal, or order the release of Merryman. But during a July 4 speech, Lincoln was defiant, insisting that he needed to suspend the rules in order to put down the rebellion in the South.
Five years later, a new Supreme Court essentially backed Justice Taney’s ruling: In an unrelated case, the court held that only Congress could suspend habeas corpus and that civilians were not subject to military courts, even in times of war.
This was not the first or last time that the U.S. federal government willfully ignored its own laws during times of strife. Hundreds of thousands of Japanese Americans were sent to internment camps following the attack on Pearl Harbor and America’s entry into World War II. Some forty years later, a U.S. congressional commission determined that those held in the camps had been victims of discrimination. Each camp survivor was awarded $20,000 in compensation from the U.S. government.
