I notice that you Conservatives use any topic as a segway into trashing transgender people. That's understandable because that way you can skip the issue of gays and try to bash all of them under one label. That being the case I thought I would start a topic so you could address it directly.

BTW, what about hermaphrodites? According to you cons this is all about choice so what sex are they supposed to choose? If it's a man do you want them in the same bathroom as you and able to stare at your three-inch willie? And if they choose to be women do you trust them in the same bathroom as your sweet little daughter? Do you see the problem? And just how do you know who's who and what's what? Just because their penis is probably bigger than yours doesn't mean they weren't born a man?

Transgenderism is a psychiatric condition that needs to be treated by a psychiatrist - not enabled.

I went to high school with one. He presented as a male. Used men’s restrooms and had the locker room by himself before the class was over. He went in and showered and was dressed before anyone else. I never saw him use a stand up urinal always used a stall. He had no desire to expose himself to anyone. Hermaphrodites are 1.7% of human populations. More than double than transsexuals. They both should be accepted as part of humans who are born different from us. In the Jan 24 issue of Scientific American, there is an excellent article on people who are asexual. It was quite interesting, as I suspect one of my friends is.

Hermaphrodites are accepted. They have a congenital physical abnormality which is almost always corrected at birth.

Transsexuals have a psychiatric disorder. Enabling them to continue with their disorder by humoring their demands to shower with girls and to compete against women in sports is doing them a disservice.
