Most of Trumps border program was deemed against the law by the courts, Biden is simply following the law. The senate border bill is fine, it provides resources for rapid asylum hearings as required by current law and increased security. The bill was bipartisan and the only reason it wasn’t passed is that Trump doesn’t want the problem fixed.

It is hard to see how any congressional action could improve the border. The border was fine under Trump. The bipartisan border bill was just a payoff to Biden in exchange for him promising to follow the law.
