White Male Democrat Defeats Black Female Republican in House Electoion - Must be racism

White Male Democrat Tom Suozzi defeated Black Female Republican Mazi Pilip for the seat of expelled Republican, George Santos. Suozzi said he wanted his old seat back. He had lost it to Santos.

Mazi Pilip is a Jewish Ethiopian who emigrated to Israel, was in the IDF and then to America and has been a state legislator.

Well, Suozzi defeated Pilip so now where are all the progressives shouting racism? Of, that's right! Only Republicans can be racist.

The simple answer is...
The people in her district decided to stick with the guy they knew would represent them best. The only reason he gave up his seat in '22 was to try a run for governor in the primary against Hochul, who became governor after Cuomo's sexual harassment suit made him resign (oh my, another example of Democrats taking out one of their best politicians because he did something wrong! Imagine that).

From a voter:

“He has the values that I have — to get things done but to take into consideration the people who are in need. And he represents the majority of the middle class,” said Jeanne DeChiaro, who voted for Suozzi in Syosset and said her biggest issues were abortion, immigration, the economy and “the ability to be bipartisan.”

That last part is the important one. People are getting sick and tired of the current do-nothing Republican majority in the House just saying no to everything. At least McCarthy was willing to come to the table and negotiate on a bills.

Johnson refuses to even put any bipartisan legislation on the floor for a vote.

You, of course, didn't answer my point; how come this isn't being touted as racism? If it were reversed, it sure would be, especially by people like you.

Democrats have no American values and wish only to destroy all of our traditions. They are interested only in socialism and abortion.

The less government does, the safer is freedom.

You know, I think a lot of people misunderstand many of us that you believe are "the left."

Being anti-Trumo and anti-MAGA makes us neither anti democracy or anti-republic.

Witness all the longtime Republicans who, realizing the danger Trump poses to the country, have also come out solidly against him. In fact, many did that even before the 2020 election.

The current Republican party is not the party of Lincoln. Or Teddy Roosevelt. Or Eisenhower. Or even the Bushes. DJ has driven it so far off the rails at this point that it will be a miracle if it ever gets back on track.

Or if it even survives.

You can substitute Democratic Party for much of your posting and that's how I feel about the Democratic Party. I have far more objective evidence to support my contention than just an outburst of venom as people who agree with you.

The Communist Party of The United States of America endorsed Barack Obama in both 2008 & 2012. It called the defeat of Donald J. Trump 'crucial' in 2016. I couldn't find an endorsement in 2020. The Democratic Party is The Communist Party of The United States of America & poses far more of a danger to The USA than DJT & any ten Republicans.

Top that Not MAGA. You should be able to look up my contentions.

No thanks. Since you completely ignored my comments about top level Republicans who came out against Trump I see no point in responding to your unsubstantiated accusations about Democrats (which I'm not - I have been NOP for more than a decade).

RINOs have been a problem since the arising of Barry Goldwater to topple the GOP FDR echoes headed by Nelson Rockefeller, John Lindsay & George Romney, Mitt's father. They get the horn flourishes just like Liz Cheney, Mitt & a bunch others.

I have disagreements with a Trump, mostly because he doesn't even approach doing what needs to be done. There will be others to replace today's RINO's. Even a steamroller wouldn't go far enough.
