A climate scientist, Michael Mann just won a million bucks in a defamation lawsuit against conservative writers for claiming that global warming isn't a problem. I find it interesting that the far right of the Republican Party is losing in its claims against the woke truth tellers. The chickens have indeed come home to roost!

Logically, I didn't realize you had a PhD. in climatology. Your fact is not a fact. At best it's an insanely wrong statement. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gasses according to over 90% of the worlds climatologists and meteorologists. The reason is because the gasses caused by burning fossil fuels captures heat in the atmosphere like a greenhouse captures heat. Other things release these gasses as well, but we can't do too much about it.

REALLY?? Then tell us all here what men did, before fossil fuels were being burned by men, that caused all the climate changes this earth has seen!!

Jim, I only took four credits of meteorology as my non lab science, and that was a long time ago. I do read reliable newspapers, and that's what they say. My fields of study were American history and social studies in undergrad school, special education for my masters, and school admin. for my doctorate. The last was a waste of time.

It's actually only about 3% of scientists that say man has any significant impact on the climate.

I challenge you to read “Hot Talk and Cold Science”. It is very well written and traces the environmental hoax all the way back to the sixties. It is extremely well documented and annotated. And follows the money and attempted controls. I guarantee that if you read that book (and it’s a weekend read) with an open mind it will change your views on the hoax being played on the people of the civilized world and why.
