Every company operates (or better) on a margin or they won't be in business long. For instance, my clients in the restaurant business say they need to be 33% above food costs and labor to survive.

Sure it has. Most wages are not keeping up with inflation. Even though the rate of inflation is going down prices are staying put or increasing. Gas is still much higher under Biden.
