Ri-chard, I'm not saying that you are wrong about hitting Iran. Iran is funding various militias across the Middle East that are hostile to the U.S. and the West in general. The big question is what to do about it. Nobody wants a big war in Iran or any other part of the Middle East, but this kind of aggression against American servicemen just can't go unanswered. I would suggest that we send US fighter aircraft to overfly Iranian territory, and perhaps drop leaflets warning the Iranians that these leaflets could easily have been bombs. If the attacks continue, real attacks on Iran could be launched. This would have the effect of showing the Iranians that we are serious, yet not eager to start shooting.
