Sadly, anything coming from biden and democrats about 'gun safety', etc. is aimed at diminishing/attacking the Second Amendment and the right of the good citizen to be armed.

I have no problem with promoting safe storage, however, "shall not be infringed" is really that simple and self explanatory.

I have a safe which I use for my guns and ammo. Nobody told me I had to so I have no problem .

Unfortunately, the next step will be mandatory selection of an "approved" safe.

Then, inspections by a 'government safety inspector' - with heavy fines if anything is wrong.

I am sure you know the proverb about the camel's nose under the tent flap.

The safest storage is on your hip, easily reachable.

Safes? I don't need no stinking safes.
Only safe a gun needs is on the gun.

Exactly Tom nobody had to tell you. I have 3 gun safes for my guns, as a responsible gun owner nobody had to tell me how to store my guns. I’m suspect of these executive orders.

Gov. Youngkin of Virginia had a great plan. No sales taxes on Gun safes. I resent the government telling me HOW to exercise a Constitutional right. It's not about gun control. It is however about CONTROL.

I couldn't afford enough safes to store mine. I built a walk-in vault.

Coos Bay Tom, I am a gun owner. I own a S&W M&P 9 Shield plus semi auto pistol for home defense and unfortunately to bring to my Synagogue. I like most other gun owners am against allowing any felons and/or unbalanced individuals from owning guns. I also firmly believe that there is no good reason for allowing the sale of military style assault rifles to civilians. I get sick every time I hear about innocent children being mowed down by some maniac with an assault weapon.
The Second Amendment doesn't allow people from owning machine guns because of their great danger. I think that the same should be true of ARs and other assault rifles. I hope and prey that my grandchildren live to a ripe old age. Right now guns are the chief reason of childhood deaths.

You leftists cry about the 'military style assault rifles' - but are not even able to tell what one is.

You "claim" to be educated - so tell us what it is.
