Having read a number of your posts, I can't recall seeing much of any disagreement between yourself and I. I have no doubt I would have been proud to have served with you, although like you, I do not care for either water or air service. I preferred terra firma. It led to my being hit, but...at least I fell only a short ways!
BTW, my step-mom was both nurse and clinical psychologist.
Glad to have had this informal introduction :!:
May I just say to all who served, I am proud of you. Thank you for your service.

Thanks for taking the time. Out.
One rarely, very. very rarely, gets to decide their next duty station or deployment. We go where told and do our best regardless of the circumstances. Everyone wearing a uniform is deserving the respect of those that didn't wear one. Aside from the Bergdahl's of course.

the Navy lets you fill out a dream sheet every time you are due for a transfer and in 22 years I never got any of my first three choices

Thanks.
So often we shorten the name, like you may become just the 9th. Any time you wonder, ask - we are happy to let you know, and include you.
Are you part of our Prayer Team? Stop by that site, it's not just prayers, it's funnies, our lives - now there's funnies, and odds and ends. Another Christian always more than welcomed. In fact, about 2-3 pages back, on that site, is a list of all who love Jesus. Our Armageddun keeps the list.
This is the site: Prayer Team: Members welcome #5
We also have a more serious praying site - but that too can include some 'funnies.' that one is: Praying for America--through the Psalms of David #2
Please visit.
