Not sure how many times....
Leftists here have told me I should donate to this organization because of the good it does. I know it's been more than a few.
These so called "charities" are scams.
With this one, maybe 9 cents of every dollar you give them will actually go to help an animal.
Do your homework, and be wise with your money. Unless, of course you don't mind paying a CEO's boat payment while a sick kitten freezes in the snow, like you see on TV, and read about in the mailers they send you.
How much does all that cost?

That pretty much applies to all charities. Keep your money local and keep an eye on it.

NEVER donate to the national headquarters of an organization. Donate to the local affiliate.

You get paid for walking around neighborhoods! Call the cops. He is checking them out future criminal activity.
If I see homeless or people on the corner asking for money if I have it I give it. Give to individuals or give food to food banks.in In my small community we hang coats on the fence around the park that are covered with dry cleaning bags anyone can walk up and get a coat if they need one.

And, most probably, you are enabling their drug/alcohol problem. Use your money more wisely.

I don't give to big organized charities . I would rather help directly when I can instead of giving to an organization that eats up most of the money .

I donate to the local no-kill. I know the director and if she's getting rich she damn sure hides it well.

I have bought homeless people food. I NEVER give them money. I'll get them a coffee or a sandwich.
Like those who have posted here, I believe in 'hands-on' contributions to local charities of my choice.

Not T2T, they are a very worthwhile charity. I believe 93+% goes to help veterans and first responders
