I personally can never tolerate those who kill children, destroy traditional marriage and the nuclear family or promote the LGBTQ agenda, etc., no matter how sweet they may present themselves.

You do know that Jesus never said or taught "hate the sin, love the sinner." He taught us to love our enemies, did He say to love His? Did He not tell us that there will be those people we must "dust our feet" from? There is a delicate balance here for Christians and it will be dependent on each different situation. We must never forget the joy in heaven over one repentant sinner and our responsibility to those who do not know Christ.

By the way, it was Ghandi, a Hindu, who made the comment about hate the sin, etc.

Padre, I feel led by His spirit to say those things. He has written them on my heart,and at the end of the day He is who I follow. You can't show someone who Jesus is and treat them like that if they say their sorry. My thoughts on this.

Lily apologized to everyone she said mean things to. After that post she debated her political,thoughts on things but didn't call names. So do we forgive or keep calling her names and shaming her. I'm not familiar with the gist of the conversations your talking about. I've not seen any post that I can remember where Lily was overly expressive. There is another Lily, a nasty Lily. Are you confusing the two? Nevertheless this thread is about where have all the atheistic leftist gone not about religion which too often gravitates into feelings and opinions.
