The Japanese occupied Chinese land, put the people into work camps and prisons, murdered them at will, and then were defeated by an outside force ..
I don't see the similarities..

I would argue that the Chinese are little better... Historically, they've been pretty brutal to their enemies...

If Iran, with its rather large military, were to go to war, real war, Israel could be forced into nuclear war.
Were Hamas or their allies to somehow manage to sneak a nuclear weapon into the Gaza Strip or closer to Tel Aviv, and use it ( or even get caught with it), you can bet that, once the country that built it, All Hell would break loose.
Even if it was a device made in North Korea, you can be pretty sure that Israel would take action, perhaps in Many directions.
We are, after all, in a position as a species, able to wipe out pert near ALL life on earth. If it does happen, it’s more likely to happen sooner than later.
Just something to ponder.🧐
