YES!!! I've honestly never much liked east coast people, having worked with many. In my experience they really think they're "a cut above" us flyover folks. But I was still surprised and disgusted by the attitude of so many saying send them back to Texas. When New York has only dealt with 1/5,000 of what Texas has been dealing with for years. They really outed themselves as a bunch of virtue signaling pussies with that one...

So well said. Sometimes you really bring out the best posts. I'm only jealous b/c I didn't say it. So spot on, Debeda! People from NY especially think they are a "cut above". And your part about only getting a minute fraction of what people like Abbott are having to deal with, and they act like the world is coming to an end. I live with someone from Springfield, Mass. and I get a little of that attitude. Thank goodness he's a believer, a strong Christian who is very trustworthy. And my Dad was from Brooklyn, a lot of relatives with that same elitist attitude.

Yeah, I think they get that impression. My Dad and our family couldn't wait to get out of there, moving to Detroit, and then Burbank, California....in the 40's.
