How does this cause inflation when you put money in the hands of the largest number of consumers.
How about Trumps wealthy tax cuts that cost over $2.4 trillion to the debt ceiling. After that tax cuts this country started to loose jobs. Most of what he claims he did had to be done anyway. People who consolidated their loans thru the William D Ford Foundation are given an option of making payments based upon income, usually 4% of income per monthly payment. If the borrower makes 20 years of payments, the remainder is forgiven. Others who make ten years of payments and work for a government agency or teach public schools, get their remainder forgiven.
This started before the turn of the century and was not Biden's doings although they were bawking at fulfilling their promise.
