You got one thing correct, "lying is an accepted practice in politics and media". That is because we allow it and accept it as the norm! The difference is that the average citizen is not allowed to lie to the liars! If we do then we are charged and prosecuted.
Most times you simply post whatever ridiculous crap that pops into your head (much like Kevyn, Kemmer, Surfer boy, Airfart1 and 5B). The people in the meme probably are not on the list of people who are disqualified from purchasing or possessing a firearm. Hunter who was doing crack cocaine every 15 minutes is. That is the difference. As for Hunter being charged, this will probably be plea bargained down to insignificance. Were it you or I we would receive the normal 5-year sentence for falsifying a #4473. I predict that these charges will be the only ones filed against Hunter because facing any others would lead to the "Big Guy" and the scurrilous Garland will not let that happen.

You're right, Hunter should have a gun. See, we're not hypocrites. There's going to be a ruling soon on whether domestic violence offenders should be allowed to own guns (United States vs Rahimi). Should they and other felons be allowed to have guns after serving their debt to society? The Supreme Court will tell us next session, unless they wuss out and send it back down to a lower court.

The Supreme Court should say that felons get ALL their Constitutional Rights restored after they served their debt to society.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
I still don’t see anywhere in the Bill of Rights “Second Amendment” that says anything to about anybody never getting their gun right restored after serving their debt to society. Does anybody else?
