Here in central Wisconsin the price went up 50 cents overnight. A few stations were slow to change their sign, so people were scrambling to fill their vehicles and any gas cans they could find. I have four five gallon cans so I saved a few bucks. Got them filled just hours before the price change.

SO, what's next Joe? Do I have to join the Amish and drive a horse?

I know, let’s jump up and down like lunatics, maybe since he opened the oil reserves last year, there will be no oil left. Let’s start that dumb ass rumor going. If you are going to talk about the price of gas you need to educate yourself about the oil markets. It’s not complicated but it is not a kindergarten position that blames the US president for the price of oil. If he were in charge of the oil price, ask yourself, would he be holding out on us. really.

You aren't very bright. Biden's actions have a direct impact on the price of oil. When he arbitrarily cancelled all drilling and exploration on offshore and Federal land right after his inauguration, the investors that fund a great deal of the oil industry took a huge bath. The price went up and the companies had windfall profits, but that was offset by the losses they took because of your senile hero's actions. In one year, Biden, in an effort to artificially lower the price of gas before midterms, depleted our Strategic Petroleum Reserve more than presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr, Obama and Trump COMBINED did in FORTY-THREE years.
Your boy Biden just cancelled a bunch of leases in Alaska. This on the heels of the Saudis cutting their production to drive prices up. But go ahead and blame anyone but the numbnuts in the White House and the morons who support him.
Your boy's policies have resulted in the highest inflation in nearly fifty years, the highest gas prices in our history, and the lowest amount of oil leases since Truman. Technically, the lowest in our history since during Truman's administration there was no offshore drilling.

WASHINGTON— New federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658.

Nearly 2,000 of the drilling permits were approved on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management’s New Mexico office, followed by 843 in Wyoming, 285 in Montana and North Dakota, and 191 in Utah. In California, the Biden administration approved 187 permits — more than twice the 71 drilling permits Trump approved in that state in his first year.

You obviously need to educate yourself on how the market works. Especially the Futures Market. Biden, yes your dear sweet hero Joe Biden, PERSONALLY and many say illegally canceled drilling permits on Navajo land and shortly after that canceled HUGE portions of oil rich Alaska. The futures market reacted accordingly, just as they did right after your man Joe cancelled the pipe line.
