Giving someone poison instead of a bullet to the brain is still murder. No one is more intolerant of sin as is Jesus and no one more willing to forgive a sincere penitent sinner WHEN ASKED. Emphasis on sincere penitent sinner. The idea of anyone planning an abortion with the intent of of asking forgiveness after the evil deed is done is the folly of a fool.

Oh please. The morning after pills get rid of a group of cells that would fit on a microscope slide. No silent scream, no limbs thrown in the trash. Also, are you for or against birth control since it interferes with the natural order of things? Just asking

I've got to ask. Are you a sinner? Or do you cast the first stone? Are you one to judge or to forgive? IPlease, don't give me a sermon or try to shade me in my beliefs. I am just curious as to why you would believe the life of the mother is less than the baby's? Are they not human beings also?

The mother is alive and stays alive. The baby is alive for a very short time and is then killed. Does the mother have the right to throw away as trash the life that God entrusted to her? Both lives are equally valuable. The mother should make it so she does not have to kill another human being as a result of having sex...

I don't particularity care about your personal beliefs and I'm not being snide.. The conscience God benevolently provided man, when not perverted and distorted, guides us into knowledge of good and evil. That knowledge further guides human behavior and we are both called and allowed to judge right and wrong behavior. Now you answer my question. When did it become permissible for mothers to sacrifice their child for their "personal beliefs" or convenience? Something horrible has influenced too many women. You know as well as I what it is.

To answer your question, "are you a sinner?". Of course, so great a sinner that I can never miss a day to confess my sins. Remember that God will not punish us because we sin but rather because we do not acknowledge and confess our sins.

That is the precise dilemma lawmakers face when trying to make politically correct laws governing abortion rights. Lawmakers want to protect the "unborn" while satisfying their more urgent need to get elected the next time they get a chance. Every one of us living humans were "unborn" at one point.

You and I are not lawmakers. We do not have that extra concern, so we have an even less excuse for what we do. We are arguing as to what our individual beliefs are. Not that it matters on OPP. It only matters in our souls.

I understand. As far as your question. I don't know when it became permissible, I really haven't researched it but I'm sure women have had them , say since Sodom and Gomorrah perhaps? I don't know. I was just asking. I, personally, think that if a woman is right with herself and her higher power then she should have the right to proper medical care and mandatory counseling. I am totally against late term unless life is in danger and using it as birth control.
Also, perhaps women have fought long and hard for their rights from men and now they are still choosing for them. They're tired of it. But that is another topic in itself

I personally got pregnant at 14. I chose adoption because I couldn't do it. But, I can't judge someone else just because I couldn't do that.

That really is the bottom line of all this. Our souls. And the souls of those who are not allowed to live...poor things.

Those who do not believe it is a sin to kill another person by either abortion or chemicals will not care about that I guess.

What is the reason for most abortions ? Having a baby at this time will be inconvenient. Okay. That is nothing next to the inconvenience of the first two years of raising a newborn. The diapers, the formula, the lack of sleep, the car seats. So again by that logic, it should be legal to murder babies up to two years of age because of the inconvenience to the mother, but what do I know ?

OMG! I can't believe that you said that. If you want to have fewer abortions then correct the child care and welfare programs

Why don't you train people and get them jobs -- they keep on saying that there's plenty -- so they can raise their families without being dependent on the government teat of child care and welfare programs? That just creates an entitlement mentality.

I agree but I was talking about the actual Child Wefare dept. Not Welfare, the not making any money Agency. If they could fix that and make alot more accessible options for the girl or woman. As of right now, I haven't heard anything about providing more places for pregnant women to stay when needed. There's alot of women that need that or making child care affordable etc. If that were done, it might be a start

I am stating my individual belief. I am not trying to change the way you conduct your life. Let's take care of our own souls.

I agree that more needs to be done to help poor women with pregnancy. If a woman cannot raise her baby, adoption is an alternative to killing the baby. There are many more potential adoptive parents than available adoptive babies.
