A pregnant, 21 year old woman is dead because she was shot by a police officer. Shot dead in her car, through the windshield, for the alleged crime of shoplifting.
That is what the news is telling the public. But…
We’re looking at another race privileged
Person that is exempt from obeying the police. Having been told multiple times to exit the car, she instead decides to simply drive forward, albeit slowly, into the officer standing in front of her car.
Instead of complying with the request of the police, she decided that she didn’t have to abide with the request of the police. Instead she decided to slowly run over another person, in this case a police officer.
How simple it would have been to stop her car, put it in park, turn off the ignition and talk to the police. Instead this very pretty, 21 year old black woman is laying on a slab in the morgue along with the baby she was carrying. And all because she didn’t think she had to obey the law.
What a shame.
Well maybe someone will take it to heart and help others to show respect.
I can tell you from experience, comply and you won’t get shot!
I complied, and that 16 man swat team were all very professional and complete gentleman.
Oh well, maybe it’s just because I’m white.
Or maybe because I complied!!

One of these types was arguing with me yesterday. They think because the crime they perpetrated doesn’t carry the death penalty they can’t be shot for it. They’ve been trained to believe they can get away with it. Reality catches them by surprise.

I don’t have much experience dealing with the police but it seems like a command. Like you can get on the ground with or without help.

Going back about 20 years, I had one of those big heavy early on cell phones. I was walking around the shore of a lake I was duck hunting on with my dog. My phone rang and it was a friend calling, that’s when I said “hold on, I’ve got a man in green I need to talk to (game warden). I walked over to a tree and leaned my shotgun against it, walked back about 20’ and met the gentleman in green.
He saw what I did and was very great full for showing him respect by putting my gun down and away from my reach.
All was well and he went on his way.
Moral of the story; respect the law and the people that are responsible for enforcing it.

I have ran into those guys several times checking my license and ice chest. I guess I never really considered them to be the police.

Here in NY they wear the best vests and such. To be sure, they’ve got State wide jurisdiction, big guns, are also fellow hunters and are used to shooting.
I’ve also found them to be completely professional and mannerly.
Now I’m no saint, and I’ve met the man in green before, when I was, let’s say, not completely involved in legal affairs. They were still completely professional and respectful.
That’s why I’m still here to tell my stories. Had I been stupid and disrespectful, I’d probably have ended up on a slab, like the 21 year old pregnant woman.
It’s all about respect!!!

Here they’re pretty relaxed. When I was a kid we cracked a few rules during the game harvest. When we went to the restaurant for lunch he came over to our table and said I have heard some stories about you boys this morning. Don’t let me hear stories like that anymore.

Here they are the ultimate of the elite police in the state. The DEC Encon officers have state wide jurisdiction, and don’t need a search warrant to enter a home. All they need is the suspicion of a game crime to enter.
I’ve known the local police to bring them along just because of that jurisdiction thing. Still every one that I’ve met were good guys
