I would do the same as Canucknus and have done so in the past. Though I did have backup in my car with camera in hand and their finger on speed dial to 911 should things go south.

If I know myself -I would intervene . I once stopped a woman who was beating the hell out of her toddler in a department store when others chose to ignore what was going on . It humiliated the young woman but she backed off and came to her senses . You do not ever hold a child by one arm-up in the air and wail on them while they are thrashing about .

People do not have as much access to guns where you live.

A man violently forcing a woman into a car here is likely armed and could well just shoot a person who seemed threatening to them.

Lots of brave replies and examples of similar situations.

But today, with the exponential increase in rage incidents, a direct confrontation in a woman snatching incident could be fatal.

If I had the presence of mind, start video recording, get the license plate, etc., while calling 911. If you video is being uploaded give 911 the URL.

This would give the woman a better chance of survival then if she was a whiteness to your murder.

Knives are not so great a threat for someone young enough and confident enough to prevail. And guns are much more prevalent in the US now.

At my age with no fighting skills a confrontation would not go well.

The odds of being shot in a road rage incident in Canada are minuscule. We do not carry.

Taking appropriate action for my age and strength, video and report, is not being a bystander.
