We have already paid for their K-12 indoctrination. More than that is on them. As for feeding the poor. We have an obligation as a civilized society to help those who CANNOT help themselves, the sick, the infirm and some of the elderly. But I'll be damned if we have an obligation to provide for those who WILL NOT help themselves. We are now seeing LBJ's multi-generational "Great Society" of a chicken in every pot and a Cadillac in every driveway! The baby momma's and their spawn have never known anything but the government teat. Many of us are sick of the freebies to worthless specimens of humanity. They have money for tattoos, cigarettes, drugs and booze and only buy premium brands of food rather than store brands. Take them under your wing if you are so disposed but not with my money!!!!

Subsidies have been abused under the current corrupt crony capitalist system. However, do you have any idea of what different subsidies are and why they are offered to begin with?

I'll give you a hint. Some are cash handouts of tax payer dollars, writing checks, to support unviable industries such as wind and solar while others are in the form of tax breaks, or allowing businesses to keep more of their own earnings, which encourages certain businesses to expand and grow and help the country or community.

Why does the taxpayer allegedly have an obligation to pay the debts of these sniveling, entitled little snots? The only thing we, as Americans owe our fellow CITIZENS is the same opportunities we have. We do not owe them a guaranteed living. All Americans have the opportunity to attend a school of higher learning if we want to. If you choose and are willing to work for it. the opportunity exists for you with many avenues of approach. I am not willing to pay for someone elses college sabbatical, pay off their car loan, pay off their credit card bills or their mortgage. The choice presented itself to them and they gladly accepted it. They and they alone are responsible for the financial obligations (or burdens) they contracted for!

If college tuition costs are too high then maybe the eggheads indoctrinating them are overpaid. Maybe coaches and administrators are overpaid. The taxpayers should not be the ones carrying someone elses debts.

College students are not 'children' - they need to learn a life skill you and many leftists do not have - 'personal responsibility'

provide the poor with nutritious food..
Many people are poor because they have made bad decisions or choose to be poor - they need to work. See comment above about personal responsibility.

However, there is nothing stopping you from giving your money to them - or paying for someone else's college tuition.

Can’t make wind generators or solar panels without fossil fuels!

"College was cheap back in the day"? So were wage earners salries!

And we didn't have a bunch of overpaid professional indoctrinators. Socrates once said: "Those that can do, DO. Those that cannot do, teach".

And who the hell mentioned POTUS Trump??? Except you!

The second is to make it illegal for any state or local governments to offer tax abatements to any company.

If it doesn't bother you to have your tax money educate children or provide the poor with nutritious food then maybe we should change the laws so you can donate as much as you want and more and not have it taken by taxing us by force. You can then give as much as you like and those that don't want to don't have to.

Actually I believe it was the churches and other organizations that looked after the poor and sick and widows then along comes the government and said we can do better and they took over from there .

Yes... the point I was trying to make is if Kevie boy really feels the way he posted, why don't we get the laws changed to reduce those taxes that support those programs and Kevie can donate to his heart's content like many others already do. Then the ones who don't want to give aren't being forced to give through higher taxes.

But Kevie would never do that because he's a hypocrite.

The church uses tax exemption to line their own pockets
