I agree! And I am NOT a fan of the NRA, (politically) though they HAVE done an amazing job, for decades, in teaching gun safety and accident prevention.
But I most CERTAINLY do not listen to Wayne LaPierre. The last two peole I listened to from the NRA were Charlie Heston and Ollie North.

Some things there can and MUST be no compromising on. Violating the Constitution is foremost among those, And both killing children and the 2ndA fall under that catagory.
The United States of America first began to fall when politicians convinced citizens that they should and must be allowed to violate the Constitution
just a little bit, for the 'greater good'.
