In the mad dash to pursue all things electric for the sake of climate change, Ford Motors has invested heavily in the production of electric vehicles.

So far, things are not going according to plan. Ford is losing billions on this in 2023 and it’s only March. LMOL!

We live in a fossil fueled world. Ford listened to a deranged old man (joe biden) and now paying the price.

Is there a Biden bailout in Ford’s future?

I hope all the manufacturers lose money on electric vehicles. Maybe that will teach them to put them on the back burner until they can come up with an EV that can go 1,000 miles without a charge and a battery that will NOT catch fire. I've thought about getting an electric bicycle, but there's no way I'd charge it or even keep it in my garage.

My neighbor has an E-bike and he charges it outside and stores the battery in an ammo box for fire safety. I have ridden it and it's great. I think he said riding it full time electric will give you about 25 miles.

AGREED! This whole Electric Vehicle push has so many holes in it, it is Laughable. Now warnings not to park these things in your garage are everywhere, and in every state.
$1,200.00 a month car pymt. And $190.00 Insurance pymt. Hmmmmm..

Battery replacements seem to averaged between $4,000 and $18,000. How long do these batteries last. I don't think any answer is going to be accurate. Depends on it use for charge and discharge cycles and the weather conditions it is driven in.
However, The federal regulation requires that manufacturers cover the EV battery for at least eight years under the factory warranty. Does that include home replacement if you home burns down?

Would you buy a used E-Car? Not!

Same thing going on at GM but they have deeper pockets, lol. Toyota is the only one with any sense regarding EVs

I would not doubt that a bailout may be coming...there is a price for such incompetence!
