I personally believe that the Gog-Magog war mentioned in Revelation happens at the end of Jesus' 1000-year reign when Satan is released from the abyss and is finally permanently punished. As for Ezekiel 38-39 I'm not sure but it may refer to that.
They are two separate events. In the war of Ezekiel 38-39. the bodies are buried, in the battle of Armageddon, in the book of Revelation, they are not.
The Slaughter of Gog's Armies
Ezekiel 39:11-13 "And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog.
12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.
13All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day I display My glory, declares the Lord GOD."
The Antichrist will fight with all the strength of Satan and his evil ones, but they will be no match for Jesus.
As the battle begins, an angel will cry out to the birds in the air: “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great” (Revelation 19:17-18).
19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies assembled to wage war against the One seated on the horse, and against His army. 20But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse.
And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
Immediately following Revelation 20:8–9 is the Great White Throne judgment (20:11–15) and then the present heaven and earth are destroyed, replaced by a new heaven and earth (Revelation 21:1).
