This should be raising the question of security . These documents that are so damn important need to have very tight security surrounding them so that they do not get mis handled-mis placed or merely taken from a secure location. Looks like the Biden case shows how lax controls are surrounding classified information and makes it easy not just for trump but for others to take documents home with them. We have a lot of Senators and Representatives sitting on committees that could very well get their hands on sensitive documents and not return them to the proper location .

You are correct about the DOJ would not have touched Trump if he was still president because more than likely there would have been no documents at mar-a-lago.
My problem with Bidens documents is the length of time he had them, where were they before the Penn state office was opened, why no one seemed to know about them and he took them while he was VP not President.
I have a question concerning both these incedents,,, why does the DOJ think they have the legal right to have these documents?? I thought that the presidential records act made these documents public with the presidential archives having legal say over them with the publics overview. Not the DOJ or the FBI. So why are they automatically turned over to the DOJ???
